1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using TappThat ("the app", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Age requirement

TappThat lists drink specials and bar events. You must be of legal drinking age in your country or state (21 or older in the United States) to use the app.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Please give accurate information when you sign up and let us know right away if you think your account has been used without your permission.

4. Specials and events information

Specials, prices, hours and events are posted by users and bars and can change at any time. We do our best to keep them accurate, but we do not guarantee that any special is available, correct or up to date. Always confirm with the bar before you go. Bars are independent businesses and are not operated by TappThat.

5. Content you post

When you post a special, event, place suggestion or other content, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, edit and share that content within the app. We may review, change or remove any content at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to post false, misleading, offensive or illegal content; impersonate a bar, business or person; spam or post advertising unrelated to bar specials; try to access other accounts or interfere with the app; or use the app to promote underage or irresponsible drinking.

7. Bar owners

If you tell us you own or manage a bar, we may contact you to verify it. Until verified, your listing and specials are treated like any other user content.

8. Drink responsibly

TappThat is for information only. Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive. You are solely responsible for your own choices and conduct at any venue.

9. Location and notifications

With your permission, the app uses your location to show nearby specials and may send you notifications. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.

10. Ads and third-party services

The app shows ads and relies on third-party services (such as Google, Facebook and Firebase) for sign-in, maps and data storage. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account in Settings → Delete account, at our account deletion page, or by emailing support@tappthat.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, TappThat is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app, information in the app, or your visit to any venue.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make important changes we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
